Portishead travelled to Wiltshire deprived of the services of Holder, Hughes, Cleary, Charman and Brice through injury, unavailability and county duty and their loss proved too much for a weary looking Posset outfit.
Bradford started brightly and had it not been for a sterling performance from keeper Ganfield the home side could have racked up 5 goals before half time, time and again Bradford's forward line raced clear of Posset's creaking rearguard only to be thwarted by the herculean figure of custodian Ganfield.
Posset somehow got to the break on level terms only to be dealt another hefty blow when influential players Pettitt and Benn pulled up lame and joined the lengthy crocks list, Lynch and Sloane took to the field to try to patch up Posset's leaks but it was all to no avail.
Bradford finally broke the deadlock after 70 minutes following a mix up at a corner the Bradford skipper poked home from close range and some 5 minutes later Sloane gave a needless penalty away and the brave Ganfield was beaten once more.
No complaints from Posset who got what they deserved from this game but hope to have back some of the injured parties for this weeks fixture away at high flying Odd Down.
